GruppeM is a multinational company that has shown long-standing dedication to the world of GT motor racing. In 2004 Kenny Chen, Director of GruppeM Europe Ltd. Formed the GruppeM race team in the UK to help showcase the GruppeM product range and build on the reputation of the brand in the UK and Europe.
GruppeM Racing will be competing in the GT2 category in the 2005 FIA GT Championship as the official factory-supported Porsche team, Le Mans Endurance Series and the Porsche Infineon Carrera Cup Asia.
An experienced racing team, skilled drivers and a very fast 911 GT3 Porsche have enabled the team to win the 2004 GT Championship N-GT Class comfortably. GruppeM also competed in the latter half of the 2004 FIA GT season, with a podium at Donington and a fine performance at Spa 24.
