Shanghai Aerospace Automobile Electromechanical Co., Ltd. (called SAAE for short hereinafter) is a listed joint-stock limited company jointly founded by Shanghai Spaceflight Corporation, Shanghai Shule Electric Equipment Factory, Shanghai Xinguang Telecommunication Factory and Shanghai Instrument Factory that are subordinate to the 8th Institute of China Aerospace Science & Technology Corp. By means of incorporating by floating stocks. Taking advantage of space technology, these four enterprises have their net assets consisting of their respective operating assets and investment rights as the initiate assets to establish SAAE.
SAAE has more than 2, 200 employees in all, among which there are over 400 engineers and technicians. SAAE has three branches including Shuhang Electrical Equipment Branch Corporation, Sensor Branch Corporation, Jinqiao Mechanical Branch Corporation and holds stocks of Shanghai Automobile Air-conditioner Factory, Shanghai Composite Material Technology Co., Ltd., Shanghai Boer Investment Co., Ltd. Etc. And Shanghai Delphi Automobile Air-conditioner System Co., Ltd. Jointly invested and founded by SAAC and Delphi Automobile System (China) Investment Co., Ltd. In March 1998 has become the professional manufacturer with the largest sales volume, the most models, the highest market share and the best technical quality in this trade at home.
Since SAAE considers quality as its life, it keeps in strengthening quality control. Its branches and subsidiaries have been granted authentication of ISO9001, ISO9002, QS9000 and VDA6.1 etc. Successively, which makes management of the company keep improving and ensures high product quality. Furthermore, it has been awarded with the honorary title as Shanghai Municipal New and High Technology Enterprise.

The automobile air-conditioner, blower fan, automatic antenna, sensor, assembly of central electrical equipment, clutch, hydraulic pump and other key automobile accessories have been involved in many fields including car, mini car, microbus, light truck, container truck, coach and so on, covering almost all types of big size, medium size and small size. In addition, SAAE has built up close and stable demand-and-supply relationship with scores of famous domestic automobile manufacturers such as Shanghai Volkswagen, Shanghai GM, Nanjing Iveco, Dandong Huanghai, Jinan Heavy Automobile, Faw Group, Faw- Volkswagen, Shenlong, Beijing Jeep etc., providing the first-class supported services for Santana, Passat, Century, Dynasty, Jetta, Audi, Small Hongqi, Jin Bei, Fukang, Cherokee, Aotuo, Chongqing Suzuki and other entire cars. Based on domestic market of automobile fitting, SAAE makes great efforts in developing international market.
