Purolator India Limited, established in 1966, is the largest manufacturer and exporter of filters in India, enjoying a leadership position in the Indian market. It manufactures air, oil, fuel and hydraulic filters for application in automotive, railways and aviation industries. The Company is a joint venture between Anand and ArvinMeritor Inc, USA - a global provider of integrated automotive systems, modules and components for OEMs and the Aftermarket with annual sales turnover of about US$ 7billion.

Owing to its product range and quality, Purolator India is the principal supplier to all segments of the market - OE and Aftermarket with a sizeable presence in the overseas markets.

The Company has two filter plants, one at Parwanoo (Himachal Pradesh), and the other at Khandsa (Haryana) with a manufacturing capacity of 32 million numbers per annum. In addition it also has an ultra - modern filter paper impregnation plant at Khandsa which is the largest of its kind in India.
